About Us

Since 2004, SMART Integrative Massage Group has helped clients experience tranquility and well-being in their private offices in Montclair, New Jersey. With an additional location in East Brunswick in 2019, SMART Integrative Massage Group brings its expertise in medical and oncology massage to the central New Jersey area. From 2005 to 2018, Ms. Doggett also had a private practice out of South Orange Chiropractic Center with Drs. Stephen Levine and Mark Roczey.

In 2023, SMART Integrative Massage Group is changing again! We are reinventing our business model to support a group of licensed massage therapists operating independently but marketing together under the umbrella of SMART Integrative Massage Group.

About Smart Massage Group

What does this mean for the client?

Each therapist will schedule their own appointments, set their own fees, and accept their own forms of payment, policies, etc. Clients are welcome to see any therapist in the group but will be required to fill out health information forms for each therapist, schedule, and pay separately to each therapist.

Why I made the change?

When returning from the COVID shutdown in early 2020, I decided to re-focus my practice on my passion for working with those with serious medical conditions such as cancer recovery, pain management, and lymphedema.

This left an opening in the practice for someone to work with those individuals needing sports massage, injury recovery, and stress reduction.

Kevin is an amazingly intuitive massage therapist with an outstanding background in the world of fitness and sports nutrition. With Kevin’s help, clients can expect to receive outstanding therapeutic massage to enhance their health and well-being.

About Kevin Ensenat

Kevin Ensenat

Kevin has been involved in the health, fitness, and rehabilitation industry for over 30 years as a previous gym owner, strength coach/personal trainer and nutrition coach. During that time, he specialized in body transformation, sports performance, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Striving to offer his clients the best possible service and outcomes he spent the last 30 years traveling the country to intern, train and study under many of the world’s leading doctors, therapists, chiropractors, strength coaches and nutritionists.

Over the years of training clients, Kevin became frustrated seeing so many people suffering from injuries and chronic aches and pains.

This inspired him to search and learn numerous soft tissue and rehabilitation modalities giving him the ability to help his clients rapidly recover from injuries and alleviate chronic aches and pains.

At the end of 2020 Kevin was forced to close his gym in part because of the covid restrictions. This was a crushing blow at the time, but every end is a chance for a new beginning. In the quest to continue his passion of helping people heal and feel their best he went back to school to acquire his license in massage therapy. In March of 2022 Kevin graduated the American Institute of Alternative Medicine and is now a licensed massage therapist.

Kevin’s philosophy on healing is borrowed from the famous martial artist, Bruce Lee: “Absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, add what is essentially your own.” Using this philosophy, he believes in using multiple modalities and techniques to customize each session for each client’s individual conditions, needs and goals.

During his free time, he enjoys being a father and husband, working out, or you can find him in the mountains or by the sea participating in all types of outdoor activities.
